This program is available to academically-talented students currently completing grades 7 and 8 (minimum age of 12 years old).

MThe Mathematics, Science, and Technology (MST@MSU) program at Michigan State University is a one-week summer commuter or residential program for academically talented middle school students who are currently in grade 7 or 8 during the 2017-2018 school year. Conducted on the Michigan State University campus in East Lansing, the focus is on mathematics, science, and technology, as well as applications in these areas. The goal is to match the intellectual abilities of talented adolescents with rigorous and challenging course work which provides enrichment, but does not duplicate or accelerate course work that is part of the regular K-12 school curriculum. Although academic study and preparation are the main considerations of MST@MSU, careful attention has been given to providing a safe and pleasant environment that includes opportunities for social, athletic, and other extra-curricular activities.
