The Child Development Center meets the needs of children ages two weeks to six years.
MSU's Spartan Child Development Center (SCDC) has a beautiful facility designed for the pleasure and convenience of small children. The center is equipped with heated sidewalks, a separate playground for toddlers, child-sized windows in the infant rooms, heated floors in both infant and toddler rooms, safety surfacing in outdoor playgrounds, child-sized furniture, and hands-on gardening units for children to use. The SCDC, formerly known as the "Married Students Activity Day Care Center," has been a part of the MSU community since 1971. The Center is dedicated to meeting the needs of children ages two weeks to six years in an environment that nutures and guides their individual growth and development. Parents, both on- and off-campus, appreciate the exposure their children receive to art, science, music, drama, language development, and large and small motor play at the Center.
