This program is available to graduating high school seniors.

Are you planning on attending MSU? If so, you are invited to apply for an international, pre-college seminar program. Typically, Freshman Seminars Abroad are short-term study abroad programs designed exclusively for first-year students. In addition to the time spent abroad, all students participate in a campus orientation session and follow-up session when they return to campus in the Fall. You will spend 12 - 18 days in an international location and earn two MSU credits for your participation. While abroad, you will spend time studying an area of interest and participating in field experiences that extend the learning from your class discussions and readings into the program's location. Depending on the program, you might also participate in extended field experiences or cultural events that introduce you to your host country.

Programs run from mid-July through August, and you should apply by late May/early-June. You must have completed the 12th grade, be admitted to MSU, and entering your first year of college-level coursework to qualify.
