Chinese Language and Culture Summer Day Camps (July 2009)
July 27 - July 31, August 3 - 7, August 10 - 14, 2009.
These day camps are available in several locations for various grades:
The Confucius Institute at MSU is pleased to announce it will be holding half-day camps for children entering grades K-12 again this summer. Camps will feature activities that engage children in the Chinese language and culture, promoting understanding of the Chinese culture and some basic language development.
The dates for the camps are July 27th – July 31st, August 3rd – August 7th, and August 10th – August 14th from 9 am to 12 noon. You may register your child for all or any combination of these sessions. Session fees are as follows: Register for one session = $ 60, Register for 2 sessions = $100, or register for all 3 sessions = $130.
K-5th grade locations are at North Elementary in Lansing (333 E Miller Rd, Lansing) and MacDonald Middle School in East Lansing (1601 Burcham Dr, East Lansing). Camps for 6th – 8th graders and 9th – 12th graders will be held at MSU’s College of Education in Erickson Hall.
