Do you have keen interest in science and an ability to work independently? The High School Honors Science/Mathematics/Engineering Program is a seven-week, intensive summer research program designed for motivated students from across the United States who wish to gain more experience conducting research while living on the campus of a major research-intensive university. In this program you will be matched with a faculty mentor on the basis of your interest in a particular research project and undertake a detailed investigation of a challenging scientific problem and participate in many dimensions of scientific research. While in residence at MSU you will spend the major portion of your time working on research in one of the life sciences, the physical sciences, mathematics, or engineering. Additional activities include field trips and discussions. Scholarships are available on a need basis.
