Historical Fiction Writing Camp (June, July 2017)

June 26 - 29, 2017; July 17 - 20, 2017. 9:00 am - 3:30 pm.

This camp is available to students in grades 6-8.

Calling all history buffs and creative writers! Ever wonder about the historical impacts of settings, time periods, characters, their decisions and how all of it impacted history? Want to write in yourself or change the course of history? This cross curricular session will involve multiple studies, including what really happened in history, research methods, and creative writing. Join Mr. Ben Woodcock, a National Writing Project Teacher Consultant, as we rewrite history together! This session is full day, so you should bring snacks and a lunch as well as appropriate footwear for walking around campus.
