Shooting Sports Programs at the Demmer Education and Training Center: Outdoor Archery Classes

The outdoor archery ranges are now open to the public, and a limited number of outdoor archery classes are offered. Space is limited and registration is required.

Description of the Demmer Center:

The Demmer Center is a shooting sports training facility that has both indoor and outdoor archery ranges (including a 3D walking course) as well as indoor firearm ranges where visitors can shoot air pellets and rimfire rounds up to .22 caliber in both pistols and rifles. We offer a variety of shooting experiences that range from beginner to advanced in both archery and firearms including our Introductory Archery and Firearms sessions. We also offer experiences designed specifically for women and children, as well as classes such as the Basic Pistol Certification Class and frequent Concealed Pistol License classes.

NRA/winchester .22 Caliber Rifle Marksmanship Program: 10 weekly sessions on Saturdays, 9:30am-11:00am or 11:00am-12:30pm. Ages 8 and up.
Junior Civilian Marksmanship Air Rifle Program: 10 weekly Saturday sessions 11:00am-12:30pm. Ages 8-20.

The Demmer Center, one of the largest of its kind in the nation, is a year-round facility that houses an indoor archery range and two state-of-the-art firearms ranges that will accommodate tournaments, leagues, marksmanship training and more. The Demmer Center provides educational, recreational and competitive shooting sports opportunities for the whole family. It is conveniently located and provides a venue that may host regional, state, and national competitions.
